The subject of this notice was born in Lee, Oneida county, New York, April 18th, 1838, and died at her home on Covington street in this village, of heart trouble, on Saturday, October 16th. She was one of a family of six children, only two of whom survive her, viz: Mrs. C.M. Seager of this place and Mr. Herbert P. Cornish of Ovid, N.Y.
Miss Cornish has resided in Perry the greater portion of her life, and although of domestic habits, she had an extended circle of acquaintances.
Funeral services were held at her late residence last Monday afternoon. Rev. C. Palmatier officiating. Interment was made in Hope Cemetery.
