Jonathan Archer was born in Eastchester about 1714, the son of Jonathan & Abigail Archer. He bought some land in Mile Square in Yonkers, Westchester County in 1735. He lived on that land the rest of his life. His wife was named Abigail, but her family name is not known. It may have been Hunt. They had five children. Jonathan died before March 3, 1758, the date on which his wife was given a letter of administration for Jonathan's estate.
