Big Ben was a Belgian. After a hard life working for the Amish, Big Ben was discarded to the meat pen at Sugar Creek. He was broken down and emaciated but someone saw something in him and put him aside for me. He came to live with me for a very short 18 months before his suspension system finally broke down completely and he had to be put down. In those 18 months he turned into a beautiful, beautiful, smart, funny and loving boy. I miss him greatly.
