Mrs. Emma Ann Battles, widow of Cyrus M. Battles, died Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at her home in Winnebago. Mrs. Battles had lived in the vicinity of Winnebago since her married in 1882.

She was born the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bouton, on Oct. 19, 1851 in Mexico, N.Y. Her marriage took place in New Haven, Conn., Mar. 1, 1882. Mr. Battles died Oct. 24, 1908.

Three brothers survive, James D. Bouton of Winnebago, George W. Bouton of Pecatonica and Alonzo Bouton of New York state.

Rev. A. W. Haines will officiate at private funeral services at the residence Saturday, 1 p.m. Burial will be in Winnebago cemetery.
