Marcus G. Prindle, 79, 3847 Backus Road, Harborcreek, died Tuesday,
Jan. 3, 1995, at his residence.

He was born in Erie Feb. 9, 1915, son of the late Lee Prindle and Nellie Miller Prindle Herring.

He was a member of South Harborcreek United Methodist Church. He had worked in the foundry at General Electric Co. for 37 years prior to his retirement in 1975. He was a member of the G.E. Quarter Century Club and the G.E. Retired Employees Association.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Sicily, Italy and North Africa. He was a member of the American Legion Lake Shore Post 105, North East, and was an avid gardener and cook.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn Cass Prindle; his second wife, Bernice Henderson Prindle; his stepfather, Ellis
Herring; a brother, Raymond Prindle; and a great-grandson, Gerard Iesue.

Survivors include three sons, James R. Prindle and Marcus Lynn Prindle, both of Harborcreek, and William L. Prindle of North East; three daughters, Mrs. Nick (Nancy) Castano and Mrs. John (Joanne) Puzarowski Jr., both of Harborcreek, and Mrs. Vern (Dolores) Lindemuth of Waterford.

Burial will be at South Harborcreek Cemetery.
