"William R. Witwer, Iron Worker, 63
Doylestown -
William R. Witwer, 63, a structural iron worker at Ornamental Iron Works Co. 23 years, died Friday in Barberton Citizens Hospital after a week's illness.

Mr. Witwer, of 133 Westview Mobile Park, was born in Orrville but lived most of his life in Barberton before coming to Doylestown two years ago.

He was a member of VFW Post 4466 and St. Andrew the Apostolic Catholic Church.

HE LEAVES his wife, Edith; sons William T., Akron, Richard and Robert, Doylestown; daughters, Mrs. Marilyn Haught and Rosemary Witwer, Doylestown, Mrs. Joan Curtis, LaMirada, Cal., Mrs. Suzanne Smith, Mrs. Connie Conley and MRs. Elaine Shearl, Barberton, and Mrs. Nancy Horracks, Norton; half-brothers, Walter Witwer, Akron, and Richard Witwer, Barberton; sister, Mrs. Lucille Palfy, Monterey Park, Calif; half-sister, Mrs. Marcella Evans, Barberton, and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at the church, with burial in Holy Cross cemetery.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Sunday at the Hahn funeral home, where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m."

William's biological father died Dec. 23, 1911. He grew up in the home of his mother and stepfather, Claude Witwer
