Suda was born on the James bottom land near Smithville, Tn. This land had been in the family for a very long time, it was inherited by her Grand mother from "her father" John Heath.
Suda married Joseph Ripley Wolfe on Sept 7,1891 in Bozarth, Dekalb Co. Tn.to this marriage was born seven children
1.Albert Sullivan Wolfe (1892-1957)
2.Winnie Lula Wolfe Brindley (1894-1920)
3.Margaret Wolfe (1896-1896)
4.John Wesley Wolfe (1897-1966)
5.Martha Lorene Wolfe (1900-1980)
6.Robert L Wolfe (1902-1965)
7.Frank Wolfe (1905-1918)
Suda (Susan) moved often ,her husband Joe was in the Telephone business for many years. They never had their own home for very long. Her sons grew up to be in the business, as well as her daughter Lula who was a Phone operator in Chestnut Mound, Tn.
She helped raise her daughter Lula's children, when she passed away suddenly leaving four, she stayed at her daughters home until her son in law remarried
