She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Hank Abston, of Pikeville; eight children, Linda (Tony) DeWind, of Pikeville, Judy Rash, of Pikeville, R. Terry Wood (Fiancé - Jay Robertson), of Albany, GA, Dianne (Jim) Jeter, of Panama City, FL, Charmayne (Terry) Leard, of Marietta, GA, Lori (Jeff) Quick, of Pikeville, LeAllen Abston, of Pikeville, and Kelly Abston, of Washington, D.C., 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Peggy Sage, of Tucson, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 12:00 noon CDT in the chapel with Pastors Barry Mellor and David Wendt officiating. Burial will be in Dodson Cemetery. The family is being served by Putnam-Reed Funeral Home of Pikeville, TN, where they will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral.
