Mary was the daughter of Frederick Buckland Bluett and Ellen Day. The family immigrated from England to Canada in 1850. Mary's birth year changes thru the years. When they immigrated to Canada she was listed as about 9 years old (about 1841); in the 1910 census she refused to give her age; and in 1920 she is listed as 70 (about 1850); in 1929 she is listed as 80 (about 1849) in the CA death index.

On Nov 26, 1860 in Goderich, Canada she married Ebenezer Woodcock, son of William Woodcock and Maria Ann Gibson.

Their children were Mary, Grace, Louise Bluett, and Adela Bluett.

Everyone lists that her husband died in May 1911 in Canada, but Mary was widowed in the 1910 census in Colorado, living with her married daughter Louise Bluett Merrill.

By 1917 they had all moved down to San Diego, CA where they remained until their deaths.

Daughter Louise (Woodcock) Merrill died Aug 22, 1942 in San Diego; her husband Solomon Merrill, son of Ezra Foote Merrill and Hermenia Barnes, had died Jun 22, 1921. They had no children (he had 3 children in his 1st marriage).

Daughter Adella had married Sidney Barnard Bradley, son of Charles Sidney Bradley and Maria Kind Barnard, in 1922. He died Jun 22, 1921 and Adella died Feb 15, 1955. They had no children.
