Dorothy J. Hendrickson is at rest after a very long illness. Following graduation from Albuquerque High School, her life career was working for Mountain Bell Telephone Co. Retirement brought her happiness taking care of her home and dogs, spending time with family and in the Jemez Mountains at her cabin she and husband Don built. Keeping up with friends from work and many childhood friends gave her much joy through the years. Survivors include Mike Bauer long time Caregiver/ companion, niece, Cynthia Analla, nephews, Larry Conkle, Kevin Conkle and Joseph Thompson, nine great-nieces and nephews, a HOST of great-great-nieces and nephews and cousins Leslie Fluke and Nanette Fluke. Dorothy was preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Mabel Fluke, step-father, Murley Bolton, brother, Edwin Fluke, sister Eleanor Conkle and one niece, Carolyn Thompson. Graveside services will be on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
