Ruth was a beautician for many years, owning a beauty shop in Manitowoc for many years and later worked at other beauty shops. After retirement she moved to Chicago periodically to care for grandchildren. She loved reading, crossword puzzles and quilting.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Michael and Diane Rehak, Barrington, IL; Mark Rehak and Debora Otteson, Appleton; one daughter and son-in-law: Michelene and Jim Ferron, Kewaunee; six grandchildren: Tanya Rehak & Fiancé Jon Amir; Justine Rehak; Jeanne Rehak: Andrea (Shawn) Schmitt; Stacy Scheidt and Fiancé, Jon Yindra; Nicholas Rehak and special friend, Heather; two great grandchildren: Taylor Scheidt and Lilly Yindra; brother and sister-in-law: Melvin and Dorothy Koller, Kewaunee; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Mary in infancy.
