Mrs. Winifred Lawson Byerly
Mrs. Winifred Lawson Byerly, 95, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2011, at Morehead Memorial Hospital.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 3, 2011, at Minnie's Chapel Wesleyan Church Cemetery in Stuart, VA with Rev. Alan Dawson officiating.

Mrs. Byerly was born on June 6, 1916 in Patrick County, VA. to the late John Jackson and Lucy Conway Lawson. She was owner and operator of Byerly's Antiques and was a member of Madison Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Nelson Byerly; two brothers, Edgar A. Lawson and Cecil A. Lawson.

She is survived by two brothers, John Lawson and James Lawson, both of Stuart, VA. and one sister, Etta Cooper of Norfolk, VA; a special nephew, Jimmy Lawson and wife, Donna and many other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service, Saturday, September 3, 2011.

In liew of flowers, donations may be made to Minnie's Chapel Cemetery Fund, 46 Minnie's Chapel Loop, Stuart, VA 24171.
