Robert G. "Bob" Bittinger, 54 of Jacobsburg, Ohio died Saturday, September 22, 2007 at his home.

He was born at Columbus, Ohio on September 13, 1953 a son of the late Boyd K. Bittinger and Madalin Taylor Bittinger.

Bob was a truck driver, a member of the Smith Township Volunteer Fire Dept., Wetzel County Gun Club and the National Rifle Assoc.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Bittinger.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara J. Jarrett Bittinger; his chidren Angela (Don) Landmeyer of Wheeling; Robbie Bittinger, Traci Bittinger, Crystal (Travis) Akers and Josh Bittinger all of Jacobsburg; his sisters Margaret Bittinger of Barnesville and Kathy (Kelly) Fulton of Belmont and grandchildren Austin, Sonia, Trenton, Clay and Braylon.

Friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jack Palmer officiating.

Burial will follow in Jacobsburg Cemetery.
