CHRIS BRUNNER DIES THURSDAY MORNING
Christian (Chris) Brunner, 90, 120 West South Street, who has operated a shoe repairing business in Hillsboro for approximately 65 years, died Thursday morning at Highlands Community Hospital.
Mr. Brunner was found unconscious in his bed Wednesday morning by his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Gladys Brunner, with whom he stayed. He was taken to the hospital and never regained consciousness.
Mr. Brunner came here from Georgetown and opened a shoe repair businesss on West Main Street. He used the same location all the time that he was here.
In addition to his daughter-in-law, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Frank Roth, of Georgetown; one brother, Charles, of California; one grandson, Paul Brunner, of Washington C.H.; one granddaughter, Mrs. Osman King, of Washington C.H., and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 P.M., at the Evans Funeral Home with Rev. F. J. Malzard officiating. Burial will be in the Hillsboro cemetery.
