Early Life: Amelia was born September 24, 1926, in Los Angeles, California, to Ernest True and Grace Esther Wadsworth Marsh.

Life's Work | Service | Interests: She graduated from UCLA with high honors and married Kay J. Andersen on August 15, 1949. Together they raised seven children while living in Southern California, Hawaii, Michigan, Wisconsin and Northern California. She didn't care about looking glamorous or acquiring material goods. She loved her family, other people, travel, politics, family history, her career in microbiology, gardening and flower arranging. She brought joy wherever she went and was unfailingly loving and appreciative of the efforts of her loved ones to serve her these past few years. Their pain at losing her is eased by knowing she is with her husband, whom she deeply loved and has missed for the past nine years. Beloved mother, Amelia Elizabeth Marsh Andersen died peacefully on July 18, 2013 at her home in Provo, Utah, surrounded by those who loved her. She was 86.

Survived By: Her children: Kathi Kohler (Rich), Alan Andersen, Paula Tibbitts (Loel), Gail Newbold (Dave), Phil Andersen (Candace), Dan Andersen (Kris) and Ginger Andersen; 31 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and 17 step-great-grandchildren.

Preceded In Death By: Her husband, Kay; parents, and sister, Margaret Reedy.
