Services for Judy Kay Wint Adams, 57, were held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2001, at North Hartsville Baptist Church with Dr. Richard Bailey and Dr. Ladell Humphries officiating. Burial was in Darlington Memory Gardens directed by Norton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Adams died Saturday, July 21. She was born in Darlington County, a daughter of the late Claude Wint Sr. and Lourine Howle Wint. She was an active member of North Hartsville Baptist Church, a retired teacher at Hartsville High School and was a big fan of the Hartsville Red Foxes.
Surviving are her husband, Nolan H. Adams of Hartsville; three daughters, Marie Stokes of Charleston, Claudette Hulsey and Windy McAlister, both of Hartsville; one son, Thomas B. Adams of Camden; one step-son, John N. Adams of Hartsville; four brothers, Earl, Fred, Don and Claude Wint Jr., all of Hartsville; one sister, Delores W. Turner of Florence; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
