Mrs. Adams died Saturday, July 21. She was born in Darlington County, a daughter of the late Claude Wint Sr. and Lourine Howle Wint. She was an active member of North Hartsville Baptist Church, a retired teacher at Hartsville High School and was a big fan of the Hartsville Red Foxes.
Surviving are her husband, Nolan H. Adams of Hartsville; three daughters, Marie Stokes of Charleston, Claudette Hulsey and Windy McAlister, both of Hartsville; one son, Thomas B. Adams of Camden; one step-son, John N. Adams of Hartsville; four brothers, Earl, Fred, Don and Claude Wint Jr., all of Hartsville; one sister, Delores W. Turner of Florence; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
