about her Grandmother
Miss Rosie was the most beautiful lady there ever was. She was a Christian and a wonderful, kind and generous person. She went to bed at dusk and awoke before daylight. All her grandchildren loved her very much. She also had polio as a child and walked with a limp.
I remember Miss Rosie loving flowers. I watched her can things from a garden and make fruit pies. I loved watching her every night when she would get out an old torn piece of a sheet and a jar of Pond's Cold Cream and clean her face. She had a beautiful complexion. That was her nightly ritual. Her house was always spotless clean. Anyone could eat her cooking and not have to worry.
I wish Miss Rosie were here with me right now, but God needed her more and it was her time to go. She left some beautiful memories for all that knew her.
