Charles O. Ivy Charles O. Ivy, 82, of Springfield died at 1 a.m. Monday at Memorial Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 20, 1907, in Sheridan, Wyo., the son of John J. and Nettie B. Edmund Ivy. Before retiring, he was employed by General Motors in Detroit, Mich. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Green Ivy; two brothers, John and Paul Ivy; and one sister, Zella Holland.
Remains were donated to medical science.
Bisch Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements.
