Allen Goodling, 71, Former Bank Director, Dies
Loganville - Allen C. Goodling, 71, retired merchant and former bank director, died Saturday at 1:45 p.m. at his residence, this place. He was the husband of Mrs. Grace Kinsey Goodling.
Mr. Goodling had operated a grocery store at Jacobus and was a director at the Glen Rock State Bank. He was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Salem Union Church, Jacobus, and the Sunday School.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are nine children, Nevin S. Goodling, 579 Linden Avenue, York; Donald L. Goodling, York RD 8; James F. Goodling, 139 North Duke Street, York; A. Clifford Goodling, Calhoun, La.; Mrs. Wendell Rehmeyer, Mrs. Ralph Innerst and Mrs. Herbert Van Artsdalen, all of Jacobus; Mrs. Kenneth Royston, Shrewsbury, and Mrs. Clark Hildebrand, 112 North Highland Avenue, York; 21 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Bertram Trout, and a brother, Curvin Goodling, both of Seven Valleys RD 2.
Rev. James R. Nace, his pastor, will officiate at funeral services Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Leader Mortuary, Jacobus. Interment will be in Salem Union Cemetery, Jacobus.
