Mrs. Abbie Chapin, wife of Willard Grant, died at her home on Conway street, early Thursday morning after an illness She was married Nov. 11 1860. Mrs. Grant was a woman highly esteemed by all who her, a about eight hours. Mrs. Grant was born in Greenfield, the daughter of Justin and Lorena Chapin, and had lived most of her life in this place. She was married Nov. 11, 1860. Mrs. Grant was a woman highly esteemed by all who knew her, a member of the Methodist Church and Ladies Aid, and one of the oldest members and best workers of the W. C. T. U. She leaves three sons, Ray and Ernest of this town and Ulysses of Minnesota. The funeral will be held at 1 o'clock to-day at the house, and at 2 from the Methodist church, and the burial will be in Green River cemetery.
