OBITUARY-ANDERSON INDEPENDENT-ANDERSON, SOUTH CAROLINA

ELBERTON, GA. - Ada Frances Warren Tyner, 84, of 45 Clairmont Ave. died Friday, Jan 9, 2004, at Elbert Memorial Hospital.

Born in Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of George Washington and Lucille Gunter Warren. She was a retired seamstress in the Textile Industry and was of the Baptist faith. She was the widower of Thomas C Tyner.

Surviving are son, Edward Tyner of Elberton; daughters, Laverne Evans and Bonnie Evans, both of Elberton; brother, Fred Warren of Elberton; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Martha Nell Tyner; sons, Wayne Tyner, and Tommy Tyner; Madeline Ross; and one brother, Hayes Warren.

Services are at 3 p.m. Saturday at Hicks Funeral Home by the Revs, Seve Forsythe and Douglas Huff; burial will be in Doves Creek Baptist Church cemetery. the body is at the funeral home and the family is at the residence, 45 Clairmont Ave., Elberton.
