On 11 February 1840, Adam Weaver married Elizabeth Fulwider in Staunton, Augusta Co, VA. To this union 1st child William Henry Weaver (1840-1903) was born; followed then by seven Golladay children: John B (1845-1926), Isaac (1845 - 1932), George (1847-1877), Mary Martha (Golladay 1849-1886) Calvert, James (1851/2-1932), Jenny (1851-) and Martha A (1853-1854) Golladay.
Following his marriage, and the birth of 1st born son William Henry Weaver, Adam Weaver began using the Golladay surname when he reported the birth of his 7 remaining children.
Following Elizabeth's death in May 1891, Adam married Eliz Nicely in November 1892. There was no issue from this marriage.
