Well-Known Traveling Man Dies Suddenly at Williams.
Special to the Times-Democrat.
SHREVEPORT, La., April 6.-Sam Adler, traveling for Pfister & Co. of New Orleans, one of the best known and most popular traveling men in the State, died to-day at Williams, La., a small station on the Natchitoches division of the Texas and Pacific Railroad. Mr. Adler left Shreveport Monday morning in the best of health, and his friends in this city were shocked when they learned of his death. Heart failure is given as the cause. The remains will be brought to Shreveport to-morrow morning, and will thence be taken to Clinton, La., where Mr. Adler's mother resides and where the interment will take place.
