Note found "Letters of Administration of Morris Bishop's estate were granted 3/29/1827 to Abraham Winchell" and "This burying ground is on the top of Winchell Mountain, on the south side of the road leading from Millerton to Pine Plains. A few of the stones have fallen, but the place is clear of brush and otherwise well kept. [1903]"
