Flying Officer, 419th Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force. Killed in action during World War Two when his plane was shot down over the Netherlands by German anti-aircraft guns, killing five of the six members of the crew. He was only twenty-one years old. Morlidge Lake in Northern Saskatchewan is named in his honor.
He was survived by his father, Ernest Arthur Morlidge, step-mother Hannah Smith, and eleven siblings. He was pre-deceased by his mother, Olive Besse Chamberlain.
