BEEVILLE - James Edison Turner, a retired Dean of Men at Texas A&I University, Kingsville, deacon at First Baptist Church, Beeville, a member of Texas State Teachers Association, First Baptist Church, Pawnee Lions Club, Beeville Lions Club, National Education Association, American Association of University Professors, American College Personnel, Gulf Coast Council of Boy Scouts, and a past member of the Kingsville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, died Sept. 9, 2001.
He was 93.
Services will be at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Beeville.
