She was born in Dover, a daughter of Marjorie Troyer Crilow of Canton and the late Stanley Crilow, and had been a Magnolia resident since 1989, previously residing in the Canton South area over 30 years.
Steph was a 1974 graduate of Canton South High School. She had been employed by Homes.Com/Harmon Homes for over 20 years, where she was National Print Manager. Steph was a member of Magnolia United Methodist Church, the Magnolia Dinner Club, and was a member and Past Vice President of the Sandy Valley Booster Club. She had served in the U.S. Army from 1976-80 in Germany.
Surviving besides her mother is her husband, Jeff Loomis, with whom she would have celebrated their 20th Wedding Anniversary on May 23; her son, Nick McClelland and his fiancée, Niki Sommerville, of Cary, N.C.; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Rod and Terrie Crilow of East Canton and Chad Crilow of Canton; her stepmother, Dorene Crilow of Canton; her mother-in-law, Faye Loomis of Magnolia; two brothers-in-law and their wives, Steve and Wendy Loomis of Magnolia and Mike and Robin Loomis of Bolivar; a sister-in-law and her husband, Susie and Oscar deLeon of Sarasota, Fla.; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and especially her beloved dog, Buddy, and the late Roscoe.
Services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home with Rev. Steven M. Smith officiating. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday (today) 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Stephanie's memory may be made to either the Magnolia Volunteer Fire Dept. or the Youth Dept. of Magnolia United Methodist Church.
