Son of William and Martha A. (Hershberger) Cartwright. Married in 1910 to Luva E. (Koppenhaver) Liddick. Died in the Spanish Influenza epidemic. Left three stepdaughters, Margaret, Charlotte and Edna Liddick.


Obituary Clipping:

"Homer F. Cartwright, a brakeman for the Pennsy, died at 12:50 o'clock thiss morning at the family home, 1210 1/2 Sixth avenue, of pneumonia, after a short illness. He was born in Frankstown on Dec. 29, 1882, and was a member of the Methodist church, the B. of R. T. and the Pennsy relief. He is survived by his wife, Luva, and three stepchildren: Mrs. Lottie Pierce of Brookville, Mrs. Howard Barndollar, and Edna Leidich, all of this city: also a brother and these sisters: Mrs. Joseph Hamilton of Altoona, Mrs. Claude Loder of Cincinnati, O., and William of Connellsville. The interment will be made at Geeseytown."
