Jane E. Roberts

Jane E. Roberts, 75, of 2199 Steam Valley Road, Trout Run, died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, at Manorcare, South. Her first husband, James Cartwright, died in 1955. Her second husband, Ralph Roberts, died in 1967. She was a homemaker, born Feb. 1, 1925, in Shamokin. She was a daughter of William J. and Gladys Dietrich Zerby. Surviving are a son, Charles R. Cartwright of Trout Run; a daughter, Jane Hamilton of Addison, N.Y.; a companion, Thomas Grimes of Trout Run; a Sister, Lillian M. Davis of this city; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Joe* Cartwright, and a sister, Violet Garrison. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Maneval's, 500 W. Fourth St., with Sister Celine Smith officiating. Burial will be in Wildwood cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday.
