West Lafayette--Frank Blair, 69, of 129 E. Grandview St., a member of the Coshocton County Fair Board for 22 years, died at 3:45 a.m. today in Coshocton County Memorial Hospital after an eight month illness.

He was born Aug. 25, 1901 in Muskingum County, a son of John and Roxanna Bowman Blair and retired this year after 18 years as an employee of Jones Metal Co.

Surviving are his wife, the former Ruth A. Renner, to whom he was married April 4, 1926; two sons, John F. and Larry L., both of West Lafayette; two grandchildren; two brothers, Wilmer of West Lafayette Route 1 and Harry of Canton; three sisters, Mrs. Leslie (Iola) Porteus, Warsaw Route 2; Mrs. Archie (Mable) Lapp, Coshocton Route 1 and Mrs. Ruth Kreis, Ashland. A son, Gene, a brother and two sisters are deceased.

He was a member of the Canal Lewisville United Methodist Church and Oak Grove Grange.

Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Bonnell-O'Neil Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. Dr. Russell Hoy will officiate and burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette.
