BUCHANAN — Lewis Latane Ageon, age 80, died Tuesday. He was a World War I veteran, charter member of the Buchanan Fire Department and was formerly of Roanoke. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Kathleen Ageon Paine, Roanoke; Mrs. Lula Ageon Smith, Buchanan. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 4:30 p.m., at the Trinity Episcopal Church, with the Rev. William De J. Rutherford officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Buchanan. Radar Funeral Home, Buchanan, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Buchanan Fire Department or Rescue Squad.
