Helen L. Brown Bean, 66, died Sunday, July 24, 2005, at her home. Graveside service will be private. Burial in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Miss Brown Bean was born September 20, 1938, in Winchester, VA, a daughter of Gladys M. (Bean) Howard of York. She retired from the AMP plant in Jacobus and previously had been employed at various sewing factories. She is also survived by three sisters Elizabeth A. Brown, Hazel I. Brown, and Nettie "Dusty" Staley Shirey and her husband, Ralph, all of York; an aunt; seven cousins in Shenandoah County, VA; and a beloved nephew, Rodney L. Brown and his wife, Lindsey of North Hollywood, CA. She will be sadly missed by all. [York Daily Record]
