Another of our old settlers passed away last Wednesday evening, Dec. 27- Mrs. Elizabeth Legoe, whose maiden name was Elizabeth Dunn, of the town of Mineral Point. She was born at Cambourn, Cornwall, England, Aug. 17th, 1823, and came with her parents direct to Mineral Point in 1845. In 1848 she was married to Wm. Legoe and has spent her life since on the family homestead, three miles from this city.
She was an affectionate mother, a kind neighbor and valued friend.
She leaves to mourn her loss, five sons and one daughter.
