DIED.
Paul, the only son of Mr. and Mrs. James Coleman, southeast of Edina, died on Friday, December 31, 1897. Little Paul was only sick a few days with diphtheria, but endured intense suffering and death came only as a welcomed visitor. Paul was about 23 months old, and was the mother's joy and the father's hope. His little body was gently and silently laid away to rest by kind and loving friends and neighbors in the Mt. Carmel cemetery.

Buried at Mt. Carmel last Friday, infant son of James Coleman. This is the second child he has lost in two weeks.
