Rual Prentice Cox, 89, of Evansville, died Friday night at Little Sisters of the Poor.
He retired in 1982 as a sales manager after 31 years at Gem Furniture.
He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
Surviving are a son, Robert J. of Newburgh; and two brothers, Byford of Mishawaka, Indiana, and Willard of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
His wife, Susie, died in 1986.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Good Shepherd Church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Little Sisters, from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, where memorial services will be at 6 p.m., and from 9:30 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the church.
