George Washington Trammell was a pioneer planter and financier. He owned a large plantation in Rusk county, Texas. He married America Avileen Beall 30 Mar 1842 in Fredonia, Chambers county, Alabama and they moved to Texas before 1849. They did not have any children of their own but they raised America's 3 orphaned nephews: John A, A. R. and Willie Beall.

I personally don't know where his wife was buried but from the slave narratives mentioning her by name in Rusk county, Texas after the war, I would look there.
