J. WORDEN ROWSE

J. Worden Rowse, of Pickford, died at his home at 11:45 am Friday, May 2, 1952. He has been ill approximately two years.

Born in Pickford, March 5, 1891, he was married in Escanaba, Oct. 20, 1934, but made his home in the Pickford area all his life.

He was employed as a carpenter, farmer, and worked for several years around the Sault on carpenter work.

He was a member of the Carpenters and Joiners Union, the Pickford Grange and the Pickford Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mildred; three sisters, Mary Rowse, and Mrs. Ashton (Annie) Roe of Pickford, and Mrs. Lorne (Etta) Warner of Pontiac.

The body rests in Quinnell Funeral Home where friends may call beginning this evening. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at two o'clock Monday afternoon, May 5, the Rev. G. Russell Nachtrieb officiating.

Pall bearers will be: Romeo Whiteman, Hilton J. Roe, Austin Wynn, Paddy Batho, Charles Quinnell and William P. Roe.

Burial will be in Bethel cemetery.
