Mrs. Mamie Maier, 508 West North street, died Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock at the St. Mary's hospital. Death was caused by peritonitis following an operation for appendicitis. She was born In Montgomery County Ill., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs, G. W. Knodle of this city. She would have been 30 years old on Dec. 3O of this year. She was married three years ago on May 4 to C. J. Maier who, with her parents and the following brothers and sister survive her, Glenn Knodle of Irving, William E. Knodle of Decatur and Mrs. Iola Fox of Springfield, Mo. Mrs. Maier has lived in Decatur for 10 years and was a graduate of Milllkln University. She attended the First Presbyterian church, The body was removed to Dawson and Wykoff undertaking parlors. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
