Mary K. Blakeman, 63, of waldo, died Friday, July 20, 2001, at her residence.
Born April 23, 1938, in Pike County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Raymond and Charlotte Brown Feeser, she had lived in the Marion area for 36 years. She was a registered nurse working at Marion General Hospital, retiring in 1992 with 17 years of service and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Marion.
She is survived by her husband, Donald J. Blakeman, whom she married on March 8, 1955; two sons, James Edward Blakeman of Marion County; Mitchell Keith Blakeman of Marion County; one daughter; Cynthia Sink of Marion County; one sister, Martha Buskirk of Wheelersburg; and four gradchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2011 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Dan Widdig officiating. Burial will be in Stockdale Cemetery in Pike County, Ohio. Friendsmay call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Monday.
