ADRIAN — On July 10, 2013, Donna Marie Starks passed away peacefully at her home.
Donna was born on Sept. 28, 1944, in Hutchinson, Kan., to Earl and Dolly Green. Donna met the love of her life in Hutchinson, Nolan Parker Starks Jr., and they were married on Sept. 21, 1963. Donna was employed by the Lenawee Intermediate School District for 25 years and retired from there in 1998.
Donna is survived by her husband, Nolan; her daughter, Dawn (Lance) Rowton of Adrian; and son, Jeffrey of Orlando, Fla. She also survived by two grandsons, Jonathan and Parker Rowton of Adrian.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers any donations be made through the Alzheimer's Association. According to the family's wishes, her body was donated to science.
Friends and family are welcome to a Celebration of Her Life from 2 to 6 p.m. Aug. 4, at the Maplewoods Community Room at 1550 W. Beecher Road, Adrian
