Edward was born August 5, 1936 to William Edward Lawson and Katheine Elizabeth Gossette. Passed away July 24, 2013 in Sunnnyvale, TX.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William & Katherine Lawson; son, Edward Keith Lawson; step sons, Ricky and Danny Peek; grandchild, Heather Peek; brother, Jody Lawson and sisters, Naomi Neal and Martha Prater.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Betty Lawson; son, Edward Lee Lawson, Jr.; daughter, Lisa Hamilton; step son, Stevie Peek; 6 Grandchildren: Brian, Danae, and Tasia Peek and Kayla, Justin, and Dylan Hamilton; brother, John Lawson and sister, Mary Byram.

Edward was always a good listener and mostly kept to himself. He enjoyed fishing, game-rooms and playing Bingo. He also loved his Western tv shows and the Price is Right. He will be dearly missed by many.

Family Visitation will be from 10:AM - 5:PM Sunday, 7-28-13 at Funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, July 29, 2013 at Troy Suggs Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Tx.
