Pause a while as you pass by

As you are now, so once was I

As I am now, some day you'll be

Prepare yourself to be with me. FaG 137207907

I would like to say to "Ready to Call it Quits" don't give up on your mother, but recognize her as a woman who is weak, immature and filled with guilt. This mother has a very high need for her children to depend on her. This dependence fulfills her and while at the same time enables her daughters to fail as she ignors their lies and pays their bills. As she enables them to fail they becore dependent on her. It is a mutual relationship of dependence.

This mother does not know how to help a strong child. She may be jealous or intimidated or may feel competition but she is not mature enough to appreciate a strong child's successes. "Ready to Call it Quits" has been hurt and wants her mother to demonstrate love for her. Her mother does not know how to show love to strong person. How can the weak help the strong? But the mother did give this daugher very valuable gifts. This mother has failed her other daughters but did not fail "Ready to Call it Quits" because she gave her the gift of independence.

This mother's poor choices provided lessons that made the daughter stronger, more confident and a more successful woman. Her mother gave her the disquised gift of independence that enabled her to stand on her own.

"Ready to Call it Quits", could embrace her and be grateful for a mother who tried.

Recognize the mother's failures, enjoy her as woman and be grateful for the her disquised love.

Her mother did not give her the love and validation she longed to received, but she did give her the gift of independence.

To "Ready to Call it Quits", she should thank her mother everyday for the lessons she learned from her.

Thank you very much.
