Jennie W. Fulk, 96, of McLean passed away at 4:35 a.m. Saturday (July 27, 2013) at the Hopedale Nursing Home.
She was born March 3, 1917 in Churdan, Iowa, the daughter of Henry Thomas and Ida Lee Wilson Ward. She married Donald "Berdell" Fulk on Dec. 11, 1937 in Peoria. He preceded her in death Feb. 12, 2008. She was also preceded in death by one son, Roger; two sisters and two brothers.
Surviving are her children, Janet (Cecil) Carpenter and Jean (Robert Jacobs) Courtney; one sister, Doris Miles; her grandchildren, Kip (Catherine), Kent (Dana), Kari (Kyle), Ben, Jessica (Joel), Victoria, Debbie and Gwen; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She graduated from McLean High School in 1934 and Browns Business College. She was a member of the McLean United Methodist Church. She retired from General Electric in Bloomington.
