Mrs. Canard had been a clerk at Grayson's Department Store, Cornblatt's Store, Glascock's Store and then Siegel's Store in Marshall. She worked for the Department of Agriculture in Warrenton and then was the housekeeper at Senator John Warner's home for 25 years. Mrs. Canard was a member of Belvoir Assembly of God for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by two husbands; Remine Canard and Robert Lee Canard. A son, Wallace Canard and grandson, Wallace Canard Jr. also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Canard is survived by a son, Floyd R. Canard of Warrenton, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 18 from 7-9 PM at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton where services will be held on Wednesday, October 19 at 2 PM. Rev. Robert Shank will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Belvoir Assembly of God Building Fund, 4180 Belvoir Rd, Marshall VA 20115
