Funeral services were held in the Evangeline Funeral Home Chapel for Kurt Ackermann, 72, who died on February 17, 1982 in a New Iberia hospital. Interment followed in the Congregation Gates of Prayer Cemetery.
He was survived by his wife, Helen Kaufman Ackermann; one son, Steven Ackermann; and one sister, Mrs. Carolyn Levy.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Lewald; and his parents, Simon Ackermann and Bela Cahn Ackermann.
