Norman was the proprietor of Wausau Yellow Cab and the owner/operator of Carver's Conoco gas station at 6th and Forest streets in Wausau.
In 1973 the Carver's moved to Florida where Norman worked as head janitor at Lake Como Elementary School in Orlando until retiring in 1986.
