Graveside services for Reba Bell Chandler, 92, of Cullman will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Fairview Baptist Cemetery, Bro. Horace Hall officiating. Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Chandler was born April 4, 1921, in Cullman County to Ira T. and Jessie Ray Holmes. She passed away Wednesday, July 24, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. Reba, along with her husband, was the owner and operator of Chandler Merchandise Store in Fairview for many years. She also attended Fairview Baptist Church for many years, and was well known for saying what was on her mind.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J.B. Chandler; two sisters, Corky Gibbs and Helen Davis; and four brothers, Ben Holmes, Cordis Holmes, Tignal Holmes and Charles Holmes.
Survivors include her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Fairview Baptist Church Building Fund.
