GRACE M. BLUMEL, 94, of RUMSON, died in Red Bank, at Avante Care Center. A resident of Rumson for the past 65 years, Mrs. Blumel also lived in Sea Bright. Mrs. Blumel was a member of the Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Rumson, and a past member of the Rumson Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband, Elmer F. Blumel Sr., in 2001. Surviving are two sons, Elmer "Butch" and his wife Nancy, and Robert; a daughter, Janet and her husband John McGuire; a sister, Lillian Carroll; six grandchildren, Tom and his wife Kristen, Raymond, Dave and his wife Denise, Debbie Homefield, Linda Pouso and her husband Jim, and G.J. Homefield and his wife Kim; and seven great-grandchildren.
