Susan Kinzer was united in marriage to George Faulkner on Feb 14, 1849, the ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. Rescold of the Methodist Church.
Of this union, five children were born; three sons and two daughters; two dying in infancy. The silent reaper entered this happy household a third time and claimed the mother on March 30, 1854. These three children left to mourn the loss of a devoted mother were quite small, the youngest being two days old.
