CONCORD, NC ~ Randy Eugene Earnhardt, 60, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013.
He was born to Martha Earnhardt and the late Ralph Earnhardt Dec. 25, 1952, in Concord.
Randy lived and worked for much of his life in Mt. Pleasant with his wife and two daughters. He was an active member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church and worked at Russell's Garage for many years with his father-in-law, the late James Russell and his brother-in-law, Tommy Russell. Later, he spent the rest of his years working at Dale Earnhardt Incorporated with his brother; the late Dale Earnhardt Sr. Randy was a skilled mechanic and parts manager for years and adored by many in the racing industry.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Terry Earnhardt; his daughter, Jayme Earnhardt Yodice and daughter, Martha Virginia "Geni" Earnhardt. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Amelia Marie Yodice, Kaleb James Prast and Raelyn Virginia Prast.
Randy enjoyed golfing, reading, racing and spending time with his grandchildren.
